The challenge

Bella Notte sells luxury bedding for real life. They wanted a fresh design that reflects the bohemian, elegant lifestyle of their products. With a low conversion rate and a high cart abandonment rate among first-time shoppers, there was a significant opportunity to grab the attention of these initial visitors.

Our approach

We updated their UX to make it more intuitive, highlighting product collections on the homepage to make it easy for shoppers to find what they want. We fused their sultry visuals with inviting copy to give visitors a sense of comfort the moment they land on the site, giving visitors a stronger sense of who Bella Notte is, and what they stand for.

One of our main goals of the redesign was to create a simple pathway for visitors to find the information they need to make a decision. With return visitors accounting for the majority of Bella Notte's revenue, we knew there was an opportunity to engage first-time shoppers.

We did this by adding collection categories to the homepage and making the navigation more intuitive. The result is a massive increase in their homepage – by 977%.

When it came to the product page, we wanted to give visitors insight into the elegant and bespoke nature of Bella Notte’s products, so we identified and called out key product differentiators. This gives visitors a sense of the quality of their products, emphasizing their unique craftsmanship, and has helped to boost their monthly sales by 48%.
